Let’s help you choose
A spa menu can feel like a restaurant menu in a language you only half know. Swedish, Abhyanga, Nuad Thai, hammam, deep tissue: the names are not always much help when what you really want to know is how will this feel, and is it right for me today?
So this page does two things. It lists every treatment at Olive Spa with its duration and price. And it explains, in plain words, what each one is like, so you can book with confidence. If you still have a question after reading, send us a message. We would rather you ask than book the wrong thing.

Each treatment in a few words
Full body massage. The treatment most first-time guests choose. Warm oil, long Swedish-style strokes and light to medium pressure from your scalp to your feet. Gentle enough to fall asleep to, firm enough to feel your muscles soften. More about full body massage.
Deep tissue massage. Slower and firmer, with time spent on the places you hold tension: usually the shoulders, neck, back and legs. Pressure is agreed before you start and checked during the session. More about deep tissue massage.
Russian-style massage. A structured classical technique that moves through stroking, rubbing, kneading and vibration. Firm and brisk, it tends to leave guests feeling energised rather than sleepy. More about Russian-style massage.
Kerala Ayurvedic massage. A South Indian tradition with generous warm herbal oil and a steady, rhythmic pace, usually including the scalp. Leave time to shower afterwards. More about Kerala Ayurvedic massage.
Traditional Thai massage. Done in loose clothing, without oil. Your therapist combines palm and thumb pressure with slow, assisted stretches. You leave feeling looser and taller. More about traditional Thai massage.
Thai oil massage. The rhythm of Thai massage on the skin with warm oil, and little or no stretching. A good middle ground between relaxing and firm. More about Thai oil massage.
Moroccan bath. Steam, black soap, a full-body kessa-glove scrub and a warm rinse in a private hammam room. Your skin will feel noticeably smoother. More about Moroccan bath.
Couples massage. Two therapists, two tables, one private suite. Each of you chooses your own style and pressure. More about couples massage.

First massage? Start with full body or traditional Thai. Very tight shoulders? Deep tissue, 90 minutes if your legs need attention too. Missing home? Kerala Ayurvedic. Skin needs a reset? Moroccan bath, ideally with a massage afterwards.
Need more help deciding? Our massage center in Fujairah page compares every style by how you feel, and each treatment page explains the experience step by step.
Choosing your session length
The same treatment feels quite different at 60, 90 and 120 minutes.
60 minutes is enough for a complete full body, Thai or Kerala massage at a comfortable pace. It suits a lunch break, an evening after work, or a first visit when you are not sure how you will feel.
90 minutes is the length we recommend most often. It gives your therapist time to work properly on your back and shoulders and your legs, without hurrying either. For Kerala massage, it allows a slower rhythm and more time on the scalp. For deep tissue, it means the warm-up and the focused work both get the time they need.
120 minutes is for packages: the Moroccan bath with a massage, or the signature ritual. It is an afternoon rather than an appointment. Leave your phone in the locker and plan nothing afterwards.
Whatever you choose, allow an extra 15 to 20 minutes for arrival, consultation and changing, and a little longer after oil treatments if you would like to shower.

Moroccan Bath
Steam, black soap, a kessa-glove scrub and a warm rinse in a private hammam room.
Often chosen for: Skin that needs a reset after sun and sea
Couples Massage
Two therapists, two tables, one private suite, side by side.
Often chosen for: Anniversaries, birthdays, time together
Packages and combinations
Some treatments are better together. These are the combinations our guests come back for.
Moroccan bath + massage. Steam and scrub first, then a relaxing oil massage on freshly exfoliated skin. The scrub prepares the skin, the massage nourishes it. Most guests choose a full body or Kerala massage to follow.
The signature ritual. Two hours: Moroccan bath, a full body or Kerala massage, and herbal tea in the relaxation area. The closest thing to a whole spa day in a single booking.
Couples, side by side. Each person chooses their own massage, and two therapists work at the same time in our couples suite. Add a Moroccan bath for a longer shared afternoon.
Mix and match. Would you like 30 minutes of deep tissue on your back followed by a gentle full body massage? Or Thai stretching for your legs and Kerala oil for your shoulders? Ask us. Within reason, we can adapt a 90-minute session to what you need. [CONFIRM WHETHER CUSTOM COMBINATIONS ARE OFFERED]
What’s included in every treatment
Whichever treatment you book, you can expect:

- A private treatment room, prepared fresh for you
- Clean linen, towels, a robe and slippers
- Disposable underwear for oil treatments and the Moroccan bath
- Loose clothing for traditional Thai massage
- Use of the shower and changing area
- A warm drink or water in the relaxation area
Before you arrive
- Book ahead. Evenings, weekends and couples treatments fill quickly. Online, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- Tell us what matters. Therapist preference, pressure, allergies, pregnancy, injuries, areas to avoid.
- Eat lightly. A small meal an hour or two before is ideal.
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Late arrivals may need a shorter treatment so the next guest is not delayed.
- Leave valuables behind or use the locker provided.
A few spa manners (and why they don’t need to worry you)
First visits can come with small worries, so here are the answers to the questions people are often too polite to ask.
- Do I have to talk during the massage? No. Some guests chat, most prefer quiet. Your therapist will follow your lead.
- What if I fall asleep? That is a compliment. Your therapist will wake you gently at the end.
- What if I need to use the bathroom or feel uncomfortable? Just say so. The session can pause at any time.
- Should I shave or wax first? There is no need before a massage. Before a Moroccan bath, avoid waxing or shaving for a day or two so the scrub does not irritate your skin.
- Do I tip? Tipping is entirely your choice and never expected. [CONFIRM TIPPING POLICY]
- Can I bring my phone in? You can, but most guests find the hour more restful when it stays in the locker.
